} CEASE, or Citizens to End Animal Suffering & Exploitation, is a nonprofit volunteer organization, founded in Massachusetts in 1979. CEASE has focused primarily on the issues of fur, animals in entertainment, and animals on factory farms. CEASE raises public awareness of these issues through media campaigns and public outreach.
