China Europe International Business School is an international business school located in Shanghai, China. It is the top MBA program in Asia and 22nd in the world according to the Financial Times MBA Rankings 2005.
History
CEIBS was established in 1994 as a joint venture between the European Commission and the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. It receives funding from both the European Union and the municipal government of Shanghai. Its joint venture partners are Shanghai Jiaotong University, and the European Foundation for Management Development.
Present
CEIBS is ranked as the top MBA program in Asia for two-years running, and 21st in the world, according to the Financial Times in 2006.
It was also ranked 20th globally for its EMBA program by the Financial Times in 2004.
