CM Phase II
Encyclopedia : C : CM : CMP : CM Phase II
Phase II was the first opened extension on the Copenhagen Metro, opened 2003 (and for Flintholm, 2004). It is simply called Frederiksbergbanen, due to its location in Frederiksberg amt. The extension covered six stations, located west for Nørreport.
Phase IIa
Phase IIa was opened first of the two phase-parts, covering 2.6 km (ca 50%) of the line.Forum
Forum station is located west for Nørreport, being the immediate west platform. However, the distance is over one kilometre. The station is located underground, 1320 meter from Nørreport. Between Nørreport and Forum there are two emergency points. It is 3.93 km from Vanløse station.Frederiksberg
Fredriksberg station is just over 2.5 km from Vanløse, 1430 meters from Forum. Due to this distance, a provision for a future platform is made 680 metres from Frederiksberg towards Forum (located 3.24 km from Vanløse). Because this was the desired terminus for the Metro during Phase IIb construction, a crossover is located a hundred meters before Frederiksberg, to allow changing directions. Also between Forum and Frederiksberg, there is two emergency points.Phase IIb
Phase IIb was the latter part of Frederiksberg, opened 2003 (with the exception of Flintholm). It covers 2.5 km of the line (app. 50%)Solbjerg
Solbjerg station was initially called Solbjerg-Fasanvej (due to its approximity to this road). However, this name was changed. Solbjerg is the last station to be located underground on this stretch. It is 520 metres from Solbjerg to Frederiksberg, and a plain stretch between these stations.Lindevang
Lindevang station, 1360 metres from Vanløse===
