COP7 was the seventh session of the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. It was held October 29 – November 9 2001 in Marrakech, Morocco. This convention was held to negotiate the rules in meeting the targets of the Kyoto Protocol. It led to the Marrakech Accords.
