CSUWIRE
Encyclopedia : C : CS : CSU : CSUWIRE
CSUWIRE is a system of shared information among California State University (CSU) student newspapers. It is a portal to anything, and everything that is happening at the 23 campuses. From Chico State to San Diego State University, CSUWIRE covers it all. CSUWIRE is the first organization to offer editors a forum exclusively about and for the CSU system.
Student editors at CSU student newspapers choose to post stories that run in their respective publications onto the Web site. Fellow CSU editors are then invited to run those stories in their newspapers. As a result, visitors, alumni, editors and students have access to a diverse news database.
CSUWIRE allows the general public to find out, it allows reporters to have their stories printed across the state, it allows editors a convenient way to share information and fill their pages with relevant and important news items pertinent to their campus community and it provides the entire CSU system a valuable resource.
CSUWIRE was started at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo by the student editors of the Mustang Daily in 2006.
