Cactus Flower is a 1969 film starring Walter Matthau, Ingrid Bergman, and Goldie Hawn in her Oscar breakthrough role. Walter Matthau plays a dentist who falls for a very young and sweet Goldie Hawn. He's a ladies man who tells Goldie that he's married with 3 children so he won't have to get too involved with her. He falls for her so much though that when she almost commits suicide over not having Walter for herself he decides he should marry her. Goldie is thrilled at the proposal but is concerned about what will happen to the wife and kids. Walter tells her his wife wants a divorce anyway. Goldie wants to meet her and make sure everything is ok. Now Walter has to explain his way out of his wife and children lie and he asks his office receptionist (Ingrid Bergman) to pretend to be his wife and meet Goldie.

An Indian version is made by the title of Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya
