Cadbury Caramilk
Encyclopedia : C : CA : CAD : Cadbury Caramilk
Caramilk (until recently called Caramel in the United Kingdom, now known as Dairy Milk with Caramel) is a chocolate bar made by Cadbury. It consists of liquid caramel held in chocolate pockets. Variations available in Canada, some of them limited editions, include Caramilk made with dark chocolate, Caramilk with maple, and Caramilk filled with chocolate or cappuccino. "Chunky" (thicker) versions called Caramilk "Thick" and cylindrical versions called "Caramilk Rolls" (similar to Rolo) have also been introduced.
Since the actual production process for Caramilk bars is a trade secret and speculation on the manufacturing process is driven by marketing campaigns (with names such as the "Caramilk Secret" and the "Secret of the Caramilk Bar"), there are many theories as to how they are made.
