Café de Coral (Traditional Chinese:大家樂) is a fast food franchise based in Hong Kong. It also operates the Manchu Wok chain in North America.
The chain is very common and is one of the largest in Hong Kong with more than 120 Café de Coral restaurants in operation (as of March 2004). It was established in 1968 and today caters to about 300,000 people on an average day.
Menus
The food is typically Chinese with some Western dishes. The restaurant only offers breakfast during the morning (lunch during the noon hours, tea time meals in the afternoon and so on) and as the day progress, its menu changes to reflect the appropriate meals being sold at that given time of the day. In another words, one is not able to order breakfast meals during dinner time.Locations
The restaurant operates in all urban and town areas of Hong Kong. In commercial districts, there might be three to four in an area. In new towns, branches often opened in major shopping centres, including those of public housing estates. In Mainland China, Cafe de Coral has spread to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Jiangmen, Shenzhen, Macau, Foshan, and is quickly moving to other cities.See also
