Calabogie Ontario Canada is a town bordering Calabogie lake in the Ottawa valley. Local to the area is Calabogie lodge [Calabogie lodge website], a golf course [Calabogie Highland Golf], and the ski hill resort [Calabogie Peaks Resort]. The lake is level is moderated by hydroelectric dams on the Madawaska river at the input (Barrett chute, built in 1942) and the output (Calabogie, built in 1916).
