The Canada West Foundation is a Canadian political research and advocacy group. It is based in Calgary, Alberta. The CWF conducts and communicates non-partisan economic and public policy research on issues relating to Western Canada. It is a federally registered charity. It reported assets of $4.3 million CAD in 2004.

Governance

The foundation is governed by a board of directors consisting of: Doug Allen, Carl Amrhein, David Barnard, Alice Brown, Jim Carr, Jim Dinning, Brenda Eaton, Murray Edwards, Jim Eldridge, David Farlinger, Brian Felesky, Gary Filmon, Jock Finlayson, James K. Gray, Jim Hume, George Ivany, Roslyn Kunin, Bob Linner, Ray McKay, Peter Meekison, Ted Renner, Tony Stewart, Gail Surkan, Anne Tingle, Robert Westbury, and Dick Wilson.
