Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives

The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives is a progressive think tank in Canada. It concentrates on economic matters and is most famous for publishing an alternative budget annually. They also advocate such causes as the legalisation of the Kyoto Accord. It describes itself as being non-partisan. The CCPA is based in Ottawa but has branch offices in Vancouver, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, and Halifax. It is funded through individual donations.
