Cape Nordkinn

Cape Nordkinn (also called Kinnarodden) is the northernmost point of mainland Norway, and hence the northernmost point of mainland Europe. It is located on the Nordkyn peninsula, about 20 km from the village of Mehamn in Finnmark County.
At 71° 08′ 02″ N, it is situated a couple of minutes to the south of North Cape, Europe's "official" northernmost point. Being on the island of Magerøya, however, North Cape cannot be counted as the northernmost point of continental Europe.
In sharp contrast to North Cape with its extensive tourist infrastructure and busloads of visitors, Cape Nordkinn is a rather lonely place that can only be visited following a two-day hike from Mehamn (23 km one way). It can also be reached by boat. The tourist bureau of Gamvik municipality can give info about boat tours.
