Caproni Ca.133

The Caproni Ca.133 was a three engine transport/bomber used by the Italian Regia Aeronautica during World War II. Originally developed as a civilian airliner and successor to the Caproni Ca.101, the Ca.133 was pressed into military service at the outbreak of World War II. The first prototype flew in 1934 and production began in 1935. The military version of the aircraft were used as transports and light bombers saw action on all fronts. A handful were retained for cilivian service with the airline Ala Littoria.
