Carramar is a minor railway station on the CityRail Inner West railway line, Sydney. It serves a mainly residential area. It has an island platform, built with the opening of the line. Under the Southern Sydney Freight Line project, a third track will be built by 2008 to carry freight trains separately from the passenger lines.
Service
The station is serviced by up to 2 trains per hour in each direction on the Inner West Line during peak hours and at night on weekdays, and 2 trains per hour on the Bankstown Line all day. This makes 4 trains per hour in each direction during peak hours and at night on weekdays, and 2 trains per hour in each direction outside these times. The trains are not evenly spaced.Accessibility
The station has an overhead footbridge connected to the platforms by stairs. Thus the station does not qualify as having Easy Access for wheelchairs.
