Carry On Spying is the ninth movie in the "Carry On" movie series.
Plot summary
A top secret chemical formula has been stolen by STENCH (the Society for the Total Extinction of Non-Conforming Humans), and so Agent Simpkins and his three trainees are hot on the trail, chasing the villains across the world. There are gadgets galore, and disguises are compulsory if the heroes are to win the day from The Fat Man, Milchman (who stole the formula disguised as a milkman) and Dr Crow.Trivia
- James Bond producer Albert R. Broccoli objected to the character name "Charlie Bind agent 006 1/2". Producer Peter Rogers refused to change the name but changed the agent's code number to double 0 - ooh!
- The first film in the series to feature Barbara Windsor.
- This was the last film in the series to be shot in Black and White.
- The film pokes fun at such spy film classics as James Bond, The Third Man and Casablanca.
