Cassia is a genus of Fabaceae (subfamily Caesalpinioideae). Confusingly, cassia, or quassia, is also the English name of Cinnamomum aromaticum in the Lauraceae. This article is about the genus Cassia.
Cassia species are used as food plants by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including Endoclita malabaricus.
