} Cataldo Salerno (Enna, Italy, 1951) is the President of the Province of Enna, placed in the centre of the Sicily.

Salerno has been elected on 2003 with the 60% of the votes; he was a èècandidate of the main Italian centre-left party, DS.

Salerno is an important Sicilian professor; he founded the University Kore of Enna, and presently he is also the President of the University and the President of the University Foundation.

Mr. Salerno travels frequently around the world for his work trips, and he is a knew person in many universities all over the world because of his ability of psycology professor.
