A catalog or catalogue is an organized, detailed, descriptive list of items arranged systematically. It may also refer to a list of items enumerated with a specific numbering scheme.
Some specific types of catalogs are:
- Astronomical catalog (astronomical objects)

- Flora (plants) (plants or vegetation)
- *Herbal (medicinal plants)
- Library catalog (books and other media)
- Mail-order catalog (merchandise)
- Auction catalog (auctions)
