Catherine Bertini

Catherine Ann Bertini (b. 1950) is an American public servant. She earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University at Albany, The State University of New York in 1971. She has served in several public service positions including United Nations Under Secretary General in Management and Executive Director of World Food Program. She was the winner of World Food Prize in 2003. She is currently a professor of public administration at the Maxwell School, Syracuse University.
