Catherine Packard Martell (Piper Laurie) is a fictional character on the 1990-1991 primetime ABC series Twin Peaks.
Catherine is married to a former lumber jack Pete Martell. She runs the Packard mill which is owned by Josie Packard, the widow of Catherine's brother Andrew Packard. Catherine is having an affair with Ben Horne, with whom she is plotting the burning down of the mill. She is a strong woman, but very difficult to those around her. Especially to her husband, Pete, and to Josie whom she despises.
