Chapter Two

Chapter Two is a 1979 film which tells the story of a man whose first wife's death interferes with his starting a new relationship. It stars James Caan, Marsha Mason, Joseph Bologna and Valerie Harper.

The movie was adapted by Neil Simon from his play. It was directed by Robert Moore.

Marsha Mason was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the film.

A line from this film was featured in the episode of Seinfeld, "The Letter," in which Jerry's girlfriend steals a monologue from the film to maintain the relationship.
