Che Malik Jones (born April 11, 1971, Columbus, Ohio) played basketball at the Ohio State University in Newark, where he ended his career as the second all-time leading scorer in Ohio State-Newark history scoring 1,693 points. The University retired his jersey (#5) on February 26th, 2001. Che' also played professional basketball in Cyprus. Now a professional basketball coach with the Las Vegas Venom of the American Basketball Association (ABA), Che' also coached at Urbana University in Urbana, Ohio and also at Columbus State University where his team was ranked number one in the country for the entire season and ended their season at 29-2 after losing to the eventual National Champion in the NJCAA Regional Championship game.
