Encyclopedia : C : CH : CHE : CheapHack

CheapHack is a TomazQuake-derived engine that started in January 2002 and made its final release in February 2004 after numerous delays of technical system difficulties. It is considered outdated and should not be used for serious play.

The goal of CheapHack was to have an engine that's meant to pack a few more eye candy features while maintaining compatibilty and speed with slower computers. The engine is playable on a Pentium 100MHz with a 3dfx Voodoo 2 video card and 32mb of system RAM.
