The Chevrolet Montana is a light pickup truck sold by Chevrolet in Latin America. The design is a derivative of the General Motors Corsa. In South Africa, this is sold as the bakkie (South African English for pickup) version of the Opel Corsa. And it comes with a 1.8 liter flexfuel engien

The Chevrolet Montana Sport pickup made by GM do Brazil is equipped with GM's excellent 1.8L, 4-cylinder FlexPower engine, which runs on a mixture of 20% ethanol and 80% gasoline, 100% ethanol, or gasoline alone. The engine generates 112 hp at 5,600 rpm and 174 ft·lbf of torque at 2,800 rpm. The 5-speed manual shifter works smoothly. It averages 35 mpg highway. The FlexPower engine effectively allows consumers to play the fuel market in Brazil, where nearly all of the country's 29,000 filling stations offer an alcohol fuel option. When gasoline prices are high, they can switch to ethanol; when ethanol prices are high, they can switch to gasoline or a combination of gasoline and ethanol.
