Chevy Van

"Chevy Van" is a 1974 song by Sammy Johns. It details how an unnamed driver picks up a girl who then proceeds to seduce him into a one-night stand in the back of his van. At the end he drops her off in a small town where "you could throw a rock from end to end" and laments "it's too bad I won't be passing through again". In more recent years, country artistis Waylon Jennings and Sammy Kershaw have each released covers of the song.
