Chief security officer
Encyclopedia : C : CH : CHI : Chief security officer
A chief security officer is a corporation's top executive who is responsible for security. While originally used by information security professionals, the term is sometimes given to the person in charge of physical security. As a result, information technology security executives now sometimes take the title of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to differentiate the positions.
