Chiisagata (小県郡; -gun) is a district located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the district has an estimated population of 53,192 and a density of 86.31 persons per km². The total area is 616.31 km².
Towns and villages
Mergers
- On April 1, 2004, the town of Tobu from Chiisagata District merged with the village of Kitamimaki from Kitasaku District to form the new city of Tomi.
- On October 1, 2005, the town of Nagato and the village of Wada merged to form the new town of Nagawa.
- On March 6, 2006, the municipalities of Maruko, Sanada, and Takeshi merged with the city of Ueda to create the new city of Ueda.
