Chikuma (千曲市; -shi)(previously named Koshoku) is a city located in Nagano, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 64,372 and the density of 537.15 persons per km². The total area is 119.84 km².

The city was founded on September 1, 2003.
