Chrislam

Chrislam, or the True Message of God Mission is a Nigerian syncretic religion which mixes elements of both Christianity and Islam. It was founded two decades ago in Lagos, Nigeria by Tela Tella (also known as His Royal Holiness, The Messenger, Ifeoluwa, the Will of God). The sect recognizes both the Bible and the Qur'an as holy texts. Its members practice "running deliverance," a distinctive practice of spiritual running which members liken to Joshua's army at Jericho, or the Muslim practice of circumabulating the Ka'aba.
