Charles "Chuck" Baldwin (born May 3, 1952) is an American political figure, activist within the Constitution Party, and Baptist minister. He stars in a weekly radio show out of Pensacola, Florida.
Charles Baldwin was born in La Porte, Indiana. He was nicknamed Chuck by his mother's alma mater.
Chuck Baldwin married the former Miss Connie Kay Cole on the 2nd of June 1973, after a college meeting. They currently have three children and five grandchildren. They will soon have six grandchildren.
In the 2004 U.S. presidential election, Baldwin was Michael Peroutka's running mate and candidate for Vice President of the United States. The two ran on a platform of "God, Family, and Republic." A leader in the Moral Majority movement, the Peroutka/Baldwin campaign publicly spoke out against abortion rights ([link]), women in the military ([link]), and the War on Iraq ([link]).
As the most prominent member of the Constitution Party in the state of Florida, Baldwin is a potential candidate for that party in the 2006 Florida governor's race. However, he has neither declared any such candidacy, nor filed a petition for candidacy in any race.
