In a poll conducted by the Brazilian magazine Contracampo (no. 27) [link], Deus e o Diabo na Terra do Sol (Black God, White Devil) (Glauber Rocha, 1964) was considered the greatest Brzilian movie of all time. The other films in the top ten are (in ranking order):
