Cita's World was an American music video show that aired on BET. What made this one unique was the fact that it was also the first one to feature a virtual reality character as the hostess named Cita. The show ran from 1999-2002.

In between videos, Cita would "talk" to the viewers, and answer viewer mail. She would also offer her opinions on current events.

The show received heavy criticism from the Black community, mainly because of Cita's presentation. Many felt that Cita showed a negative portrayal of Blacks, with a loud, opinionated persona, and short-cut outfits (despite being a computer image). BET finally cancelled the show in 2002.
