Citadel of Doom is the second episode of the second season of Xiaolin Showdown, and the fifteenth episode overall.

Plot synopsis

Kimiko is extremely angry at Jack for not being able to bring Omi Back in the past, as she tortures him. Things aren't looking good for the Xiaolin Dragons. With Wuya at large and Omi trapped in the past, it's no surprise that their bad luck continues. Several of Wuya's rock monsters break into Jack's headquarters. Kimiko and Clay try to stop them, but no luck. Jack uses his Jack-bots to blast it, and it looks like he saved them, but a much bigger rock monster rips Jack's house off, and its companions swallow the warriors, who conveniently have cages for stomachs.

They take Kimiko, Clay, Jack, and Dojo to Wuya's palace. Wuya offers to let them go if they swear allegiance to her. Jack is more than ready to accept, but the rest of them say no, so Wuya throws them in her dungeon. Meanwhile, Raimundo is getting even more lonely, finding no companionship with Wuya's rock monsters. Dojo, in a last ditch attempt, tries to grow to his huge form to break out, but the bars are too firm. It would seem all is lost for the Warriors and the world, but suddenly a familiar someone bursts out of a manhole. Omi's back!

He quickly leaps into action, using the Orb of Tornami (Ice) to freeze the dungeon bars from everyone's cages, both of which become brittle, allowing them to escape. Ouside, they all sit around a campfire, wondering how Omi got back without just waiting 1500 years, as he still looks to be a kid. Omi tells his story:

He was keeping very calm when he realized he was trapped in the past with no more than his. Specifically, he was running around screaming, until Master Dashi picked him up, and he stopped soon after. Dashi told him that although the time traveling Shen Gong Wu is hidden, and a fight between Dojo and himself ensues about where exatcly it was buried, he does have all that he needs. He tells Omi to meditate and think about what to do. Omi does just that, and comes up with a plan. He ventures to the exact spot where Wuya's palace would rise. Once there, he hides himself underneath boulders, and uses the Orb of Tornami (Ice) to freeze hiself until 1500 years later, when he would emerge from the ice, puzzle box in hand. Omi and Jack decide to go to the palace to capture Wuya, needing to be within close proximity to do so. Jack was the last person to open the box, so he figures he'll have no trouble doing it once more.

Kimiko and Clay distract the monsters and Raimundo with their signature Shen Gong Wu. They beat the monsters badly, but Raimundo just summons more. After a bit of this, Raimundo starts to wonder why they don't just fly away on Dojo. He realizes that they're staying on purpose and it's all just a big distraction. He orders the monsters back to the palace in an effort to warn Wuya about it.

Meanwhile, Jack sneaks up on Wuya and tries to open the box. Omi tries, but he can't do it either. Their frustration makes noise, which attracts Wuya, who captures them, and shows them that she's also gotten the rest of them. Dojo once again tries to supersize, but the cage monster is firm and solid. Wuya orders the monsters to crush them by closing up their insides. Raimundo gets worried, never intending to kill them. Realizing that he wants his friends more than material possessions, he yanks the puzzle box open (Wuya let go of the box and fell into his hands). Wuya is turned back into a spirit and gets sucked inside. Her palace collapses along with the monsters, setting everyone free. The dead wasteland around her castle becomes lush green once again.

Back at the temple, Master Fung berates Raimundo for his betrayal, but for saving the world, he offers him the Apprentice ranked sash. Raimundo declines the offer stating that he isn't ready just yet, but someday he will be.

Around the temple grounds, the dragons invite Jack to train with them, but Jack declines the offer. Now that the world is normal again, Jack is back to being their enemy.

Among the debris of the fallen palace, an old enemy purrs at the puzzle box she just discovered.
