City of Aberdeen (Mòr-bhaile Obar Dheathain in Gaelic) is one of 32 unitary council regions in Scotland. It includes the communities of Bridge of Don, Cove Bay, Cults, Dyce, Peterculter et al. as well as Aberdeen itself. It is surrounded on all sides except the east by the unitary authority of Aberdeenshire.
