The City of Casey is a Local Government Area in Victoria, Australia. It is located in the outer south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It has an area of 407 square kilometres. In 2001 it had a population of 172,000. To date, City of Casey's population is 223,347.

Casey is the third fastest growing municipality in Australia, behind the Gold Coast and Brisbane. The city is governed by an elected council of eleven councillors, which is presided over by a Mayor. Council elections were held in November 2005 where Kevin Bradford was elected as new City of Casey Mayor.
