Clémence Guichard (born c. 1982[#endnote_birthdate]), better known as Clémence Poésy (IPA: [klemãns poezi]), is a French actress most famous for playing Fleur Delacour in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Biography
Poésy was born in the suburbs of Paris to a French teacher, whose maiden name Poésy took as a stage name. Her father is Étienne Guichard, who gave Poésy her first acting job when she was 14,she had two lines. She has a younger sister, Maëlle, who is also an actress. Poésy has a boyfriend named Emrik. Since leaving school at the age of 16, she has studied drama at the university of Nanterre and appeared a number of French film, television, and stage roles. Her first English-speaking role was in the BBC mini-series, Gunpowder, Treason and Plot, where she played Mary I of Scotland.
She is slated to appear in an adaptation of Le Grand Meaulnes, due for a 2006 release, as well as a sci-fi film Tender Interface.
Poésy can speak both French and English fluently, as well as some Spanish and Italian. She enjoys shopping, patisserie goods, the music of Loïc Lantoine, the film A History of Violence, and Gauloise cigarettes.

- She refuses to give out her birthdate[#endnote_birthdate], and has denied a rumoured November date.
- She has claimed not to care about being famous, just about acting.
- She used to be into grunge, but gave it up feeling that it would hurt her image.
- If she went to school with Fleur Delacour she believes she wouldn't be friends with her.
- She fell off of a horse at age seven, and did not ride one again until she was 20 (for her role in Gunpowder, Treason and Plot ).
