Clifton Powell (born August 31, 1947 in Maryland, Liberia, Yonkers, New York) is an American actor.

In addition to several films and television programs, he also was a voice actor for the computer game , playing . He won several NAACP Awards. Some of Powell's films include the film Next Friday (2000) as well as the films Why Do Fools Fall In Love (1998), Rush Hour(1998), Ray (2004), Never Die Alone (2004), and The Gospel (2005).

Because of a strong resemblance, both facially and vocally, Powell is often confused with Charlie Murphy, who, coincidentally, also has a role in San Andreas as pimper Jizzy B.
