Based in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Clipper Magazine is a corporation that produces coupon and advertisement magazines in over 405 individual markets in 26 states. The company started in 1983 as a student business at Franklin & Marshall College, in downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania, by Steve Zuckerman, Ian Ruzow and Bob Zuckerman. The magazine is mailed seven times annually to over 100 million households in these states: Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Illinois, Arizona, California, Oregon, Alabama, Colorado, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Kentucky. In Georgia and Arizona, the magazine carries the name "Savvy Shopper". The magazine's readership exceeds 230 million annually.
The company mainly focuses its advertising efforts on local and small businesses in each area, but does cater to national business as well. Areas of focus include automotive, beauty and fitness, food, health, home furnishing, home improvement, retail, and professional.
Clipper Magazine also owns the naming rights to the home field of the Lancaster Barnstormers baseball team, called Clipper Magazine Stadium. The stadium is located in downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
