Coccoloba

Coccoloba Juss. 1789, is a genus of plants in the family Polygonaceae. There is no common name in English for this genus, although many of the individual species have widely used common names. One species, the Seagrape (Coccoloba uvifera) is commonly cultivated, and the genus name is sometimes used to denote this species.
Many Coccoloba species are found in the Caribbean and Central America, with their ranges extending into Florida.
