About 10,000 years ago, a group of peaceful alien lifeforms, called Antereans, had an outpost on the planet Earth. This outpost sank due to an earthquake, and in order for them to leave, 20 members remained behind so that the rest would have enough lifeforce to return to their home planet.
In 1985, four Antereans return to pick them up. They disguise themselves as humans, rent a house with a pool, and charge this pool with lifeforce. They proceed to rent a boat to retrieve the cocoons in which the 20 remain on the bottom of the ocean in life support cocoons.
Meanwhile, some local residents from a retirement home go to swim in the pool secretly and take in some of the lifeforce. They are caught, but are eventually given permission to use the pool. One of the elderly people, knowing of the nature of the aliens refuses to use the healing power and accidentally spills the secret, resulting in all of the elderly residents using the pool. All the life force is drained, and they cannot take along the cocoons anymore. With the help of the three friends and their wives they return the cocoons to the ruins of Atlantis.
