Coity Castle

Coity Castle is a castle near Bridgend, South Wales.
The original stone castle was built by the Normans in the 12th century. Extensive rework took place in the 14th century and 15th centuries. Very close to the castle is the battlemented church of St Mary, dating from the 14th century.
The castle was abandoned around the 17th century and is now in the care of Cadw.
