The Common Hawk-cuckoo Cuculus varius also popularly called the Brainfever bird is a medium sized cuckoo resembling the Shikra in appearance. During summer months it is easily detected by its repeated calls of Brain-fever ... Brain-fever. When flying into trees, they resemble sparrowhawks and upon landing on the perch they shake their tails from side to side.
It is found in dry deciduous forests throughout India.
