Compaq TC1000
Encyclopedia : C : CO : COM : Compaq TC1000
The TC1000 is a hybrid Tablet PC designed by Compaq, before it was purchased by HP. It used the Transmeta Crusoe processor, which made it pretty sluggish in day-to-day use. The display is detachable from the keyboard for ultra-portability.
The TC1000 was replaced by the HP TC1100 which features a faster Pentium M processor among other small upgrades. With the keyboard, it is a fully functional laptop, while without the keyboard, the PC is a thin portable slate which makes mobile computing easier than ever. The product was developed and manufactured using ODM model from LG Electronics, Inc. of South Korea.
