Con rit

The Con Rit (Cetioscolopendra aeliani) is a cryptozoological creature that is supposed by some to live in south east Asia. It is said to be a large, aquatic, centipede-like creature. It is described as having a segmented body which produces a metallic sound when tapped, much like that of the horseshoe crab. It has been thought by some cryptozoologists to be the basis for oriental dragon myths. Some say it is a mammal, but others believe it is an arthropod. There are occasional reports of it being washed ashore as a globster, but hardly ever sightings of live ones.
