The Connecticut Post is a daily newspaper, serving the area around Bridgeport, Connecticut. It was formerly owned by the Thomson chain, but when that company sold off its newspapers, Media News Group bought the Post.
The newspaper was formerly called The Bridgeport Post.
With a circulation of roughly 77,000 (daily) and 85,000 (Sunday), the newspaper is the state's third largest. The publisher is Robert Laska and the executive editor is Jim Smith.
