Consanguinity (Buffyverse)
Encyclopedia : C : CO : CON : Consanguinity (Buffyverse)
Consanguinity is a Buffyverse fan-made production, a Machinima series. It is produced by [Bathtub Productions], and was created by Damien Valentine. The story is set in the fictional Buffyverse established by TV series, Buffy and Angel.
The series is important to many Buffyverse fans as the only attempt to create a Buffyverse series using Machinima. Furthermore it is one of only several attempts by fans to create series related to the Buffyverse (others being Cherub, Fluffy, Forgotten Memories and Vangelis). Fan-response was generally positive, for example [comments by fans at Whedonesque] might be summarised by the comment a "bit rough, but it's pretty good"[#endnote_whedonesque]. The series was also reviewed at [Machinima.com] which positively reviewed the series as one which was "getting better every episode, and the " last couple of episodes have been particularly strong"[#endnote_review]. Knowledge of the series by Buffyverse and Machinima fans is still growing.
