Consulate may refer to:
- the office or term (either individually or collectively) of any officials styled Consul, since Roman antiquity
- French Consulate, the government of republican France from 1799 to 1804, when First Consul Napoleon Bonaparte crowned himself Emperor
- the office, comparable in some senses to an embassy, of a Consul (representative), official representative of a state outside its territory and not present in the capital of the host country (which would be called an embassy or High Commission)
