Conway Berners-Lee

Conway Berners-Lee (born 1921) was a British mathematician born in Birmingham, England who worked in the team that developed the Manchester Mark I computer at the University of Manchester, England. He was married to Mary Lee Woods, also in the team. Their son, Sir Tim Berners-Lee, one of the first to be a second-generation computer scientist, went on to invent the World Wide Web.
