Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories

The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories is a unit in the Israeli Ministry of Defense that engages in coordinating civilian issues between the Government of Israel, the Israel Defense Forces, foreign organizations, and the Palestinian Authority.
The unit is composed of the following branches:
- The Office of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, headed by an Aluf.
- The Office of the Deputy Coordinator, headed by a Brigadier-General.
- The Civil Administration in the West Bank, including coordination and communication in the cities of Jenin, Nablus, Tulkarm, Qalqilyah, Ramallah, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron, and Jericho. It is headed by a Brigadier-General.
- The Coordination and Communication Administration of the Gaza Strip, headed by a Colonel.
- The Spokespersonship and Public Relations Office, in-charge of public communication and other publications.
- The International organizations and External Relations Department, responsible for coordinating activities of international organizations.
- The Finance Department, tasked with coordinating economic measures.
- The Infrastructure Department, responsible for coordinating infrastructure-related activities: water, sewage, electricity, communications, construction, and so on, including the building of the West Bank wall.
- The School for Communication and Coordination, which instructs officers and soldiers, in particular, spoken Arabic.
