Counties of Hungary

Hungary is subdivided administratively into 43 regions. Of these, 19 are counties (megyék, singular: megye) and 23 are so-called urban counties (i.e., cities with county rights, singular: megyei jogú város), in addition to which there is one capital city (főváros): Budapest. The other 42 are:
